Is there still room for music in the midst of the crisis? Absolutely!

We are worried. About the climate, about justice, and about the future of us all. But instead of burying our heads in the sand, we want to take action. We want to raise awareness of the crisis and, at the same time, inspire hope. We want to encourage people to take action.

What better way to do this than with music?

Choirs for Climate is a project by the Bonn-based a cappella choir Right Here. To celebrate their tenth anniversary, the choir has invited other choirs from Bonn to join them in setting an example for stronger climate protection measures. They will be performing in a concert that combines top-class music with motivating messages and plenty of impetus for action.

These choirs will be performing:

• Right Here: Pop & rock a cappella
• Bonner Filmchor: film music a cappella
• Bonner Jazzchor – Vocal jazz pop a cappella

All proceeds from the concert will be split equally between the initiative Neue Stadtgärtnerei based in Bonn and the Ugandan movement African Women Rising.
Both are committed to biodiversity and land conservation, organic farming, environmental education, and social justice in their local projects.
